IDCA Launches IDCA Global Foundation to Advance Digital Equity Worldwide
Washington, DC, January 12, 2026 – International Data Center Authority (IDCA) announces the launch of the IDCA Global Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to advance digital equity, sovereign digital infrastructure, and inclusive digital transformation across the globe.
The IDCA Global Foundation is headquartered in the Washington, DC area, with offices and partner organizations on six continents. The foundation will work with agencies from the United Nations, World Bank, and other key multilateral and nonprofit organizations at the intersection of technology, development, education, finance, and governance to support countries and communities in building digital futures that generate economic opportunity, social development, and institutional resilience.
“We believe in advancing the world of digital equity and spreading peace and prosperity through the merits of sustainable digital economies worldwide. In due determination, we have launched the IDCA Global Foundation in order to streamline investments, empower communities, and develop regions of the world that have long awaited the opportunity to emerge as a meaningful player in the global horizon of human development,” stated Mehdi Paryavi, Chairman and CEO of the International Data Center Authority and Chairman of the IDCA Global Foundation.
“The foundation treats digital infrastructure and digital skills as inseparable foundations of sustainable human development. Humans are capable of owning their future through adequate education and knowledge and skills acquisition” according to Foundation CEO Dr. Simona Anamaria Miranescu. “We will achieve our goals to advance digital equity worldwide by enabling access to trusted digital infrastructure, strengthening national and regional digital capacities, and cultivating the skills, knowledge, and institutional readiness required to translate advanced technologies into livelihoods, inclusion, and social progress.”
