Transformative Industry Leader Mark Thiele Joins IDCA
Washington, DC – August 13, 2025 – IDCA has announced that transformational leader Mark Thiele has joined the organization as an entrepreneurial counsel. Mark is the former CEO and Co-Founder of Edgevana. He has a three plus decade career as a technology executive, building global infrastructure for companies including HP, Gilead, Brocade, VMware, Switch, Ericsson and Edgevana.
Mark has always been deeply involved in the industry. He is co-founder of Data Center Pulse, former Chair for the IDCA Technical Committee, Member IBM Cloud Minds, Board member for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, and is currently an advisor/board member to a number of startups and completed an Accelerated MBA Program for Top Performers from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Previously, he also served as Chairman of the Technical Standards Committee in 2017-2020.
