New York, November 5, 2025 – An International Data Center Authority (IDCA) delegation led the discussion about the Digital Economy with key representatives from 93 Francophone nations gathered at a meeting in New York of L’organisation internationale de la francophonie (OIF).

Participating nations included France, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, Gabon, Armenia, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Morocco, Haiti, and dozens more who are keen to transform their economies and discuss shared priorities concerning public digital infrastructures, interoperability, and the role of reliable and inclusive systems in strengthening national development and global cooperation.

The IDCA delegation included Chairman Mehdi Paryavi, Economy Counsel Dr. Simona Anamaria Marinescu, Global Head of Digital Investments Moncef Moon Haddad, Global Head of Strategic Services Solomon Edun, and Chief Resource Officer Roger Strukhoff.

IDCA Chairman Paryavi addressed the assembly on the critical role of digital infrastructure transformation of standards, human capital capacity-building, and digital readiness infrastructure and frameworks in accelerating national digital economies — highlighting how nations can leverage technology responsibly and collaboratively to drive equitable prosperity across the Francophone world.“Our message is simple: the time is now and being strategic is key to capturing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to harness the economic benefits that this AI era can foster for all nations of the world,“ said Paryavi during this speech. “We extend our appreciation to Ambassador Zénon Mukongo Ngay and Ambassador Michel Biang for their leadership, engagement, and continued efforts to promote inclusive digital cooperation across the Francophone community,” he continued.
