IDCA Delegation Meets with Romanian Parliament to Advance Strategic Cooperation on the Digital Economy

Bucharest, Romania — The International Data Center Authority (IDCA) delegation was received today by the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Romania to explore opportunities to engage in a joint partnership between Romania and IDCA. The IDCA delegation included Mehdi Paryavi, Chairman and CEO, Roger Strukhoff, Chief Research Officer, Dr. Simona Marinescu, Economic Counsel, Moncef Haddad, Global Head of Investment, Solomon Edun, Global Head of Strategic Services and Lizabeth Hood, Global Head of Education and Membership who were invited by the explicit invitation of the President of the Romanian Parliament to visit Bucharest and discuss a joint partnership and strategic relationship between Romania and IDCA on national digital infrastructure and digital economy development.

The discussions focused on Romania’s digital transformation priorities, energy roadmaps and transition, data center expansion, investment opportunities, workforce development, and alignment with global digital infrastructure standards. The meeting marks an important step toward formal cooperation aimed at strengthening Romania’s digital capabilities and enhancing its role within Europe’s evolving digital landscape.
