CrowdStrike Executive Greg Sly Joins IDCA as Infrastructure Counsel


Washington, DC – August 17, 2025 – IDCA has announced that digital infrastructure industry leader Greg Sly has joined the organization as its Infrastructure Counsel. Greg serves as SVP Infrastructure at Los Angeles-based CrowdStrike, the world-leading cybersecurity technology company focused on securing endpoints and workloads.

Greg has also served as SVP Infrastructure at PayPal, SVP of Platforms and Infrastructure at Verizon, and VP of Operations Engineering at Yahoo. He has also been a Customer Advisory Council member at several companies, including Google. Earlier in his career, he worked with Oath, MCI, and Intuit.

“Greg brings a unique set of skills and experience in building and managing customer-facing, enterprise-grade infrastructure and securing it,” said IDCA Chairman and CEO Mehdi Paryavi in making the announcement. “The task of protecting key systems, workloads, and critical data has never been more critical or difficult, so Greg provides incredible value to IDCA in this area.”
