Leading AI Strategist Mark Minevich Joins IDCA as AI Counsel and Board of Directors Member
Washington, DC – April 18, 2024 – AI strategist, author, and investor Mark Minevich has joined IDCA as AI Counsel and Board of Directors member. Mark is a founding partner and chairman of Going Global Ventures (GGV), a New York-based investment, technology, and strategic advisory firm dedicated to leading high-growth tech clients to success in the global digital economy.
Mark's award-winning book, "Our Planet Powered by AI," (Wiley), is a manifesto for a world in which AI is a force for sustainable change. He puts his writing into practice through several activities, including advising the UN/UNDESA-United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, focusing on digital government. Mark chairs the executive committee of Al for Good Foundation and is a member of the executive committee of WorkingNation's efforts to co-create the future of work.

In his activities, Mark also serves as a senior advisor to Mayfield Venture Capital, a shareholder and advisor in Bootstrap Labs AI VC, a trusted strategic advisor to Amelia.AI and many other leading technology startups, and an executive advisor to Paris-based Artefact Management Consultancy. In addition, his contributions to the WEF and B20-G20 digitalization task forces showcase a commitment to shaping policies that transcend borders.
Mark is a Senior Fellow of the Council on Competitiveness in Washington DC, and a Senior Fellow of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Council. He advises the public sector, large global enterprises, and brands in the US, EU, Gulf Countries, South America, and Japan.
Earlier in his career, he was vice chair of Ventures and External Affairs and CTO at the Comrade Group, and also served as CTO and strategy executive at IBM. He has published three books and more than 80 articles on AI, the Future of Work, Climate Change, Industry 4.0, and IoT. He was named one of the top 20 most followed Influencers in 2021, was recognized as one of 20 AI Influencers and Visionaries for 2021 and 2022, and has been featured in a prestigious list of 50 Most Powerful AI Influencers in Engatica Magazine.
