ex-Google Digital Transformation Principal Silvana Oliva Joins IDCA Board of Directors
Silvana Oliva, former Senior Principal of Cloud Digital Transformation at Google, has joined the IDCA Board of Directors and will also serve as the IDCA Cloud Investments Counsel. Silvana Oliva has over 20 years of experience in strategic commerce, economy, development, governance, compliance, financial and investment management gained from the Technology and Digital infrastructure, in both Public and Private sectors.
Silvana has held global leadership positions at companies such Nokia and British Telecom as well as Google, and has served as a Financial and Commercial Advisor to the UK Government and many international organizations and funds focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She has worked in more than 40 countries spanning Latin America, the U.S. Europe, the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia.

Silvana received an MSc in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School where she is a Sloan Fellow; an MPA from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA in History from the University of Hull (UK). Silvana lives in New York where she moved in 2020, after having grown up in Spain and spending more than two decades in London.
“I joined IDCA because I truly believe in its mission,” Silvana said in joining the Board. “The world needs organizations like IDCA if we really want to move the needle in our mission to build a more sustainable ICT industry and narrow the gap in our society when it comes to having access to the opportunities the Digital Economy creates. We need to ensure everyone has the same opportunities for prosperity and well-being, and a sustainable digital economy plays a big role in that.”
