Lumentum CIO, Ralph Loura, joins IDCA Advisory Council

Washington D.C., February 25, 2019: International Data Center Authority (IDCA) today announces that Ralph Loura, CIO of Lumentum, has joined IDCA’s Technical Standards Committee Advisory Council.
As Chief Information Officer at Lumentum, Ralph is responsible for digital strategy and operations for the company globally.
Prior to joining Lumentum Ralph served as Chief Technology Officer at Rodan + Fields. While there Ralph defined and advanced the company’s technology strategy and infrastructure to support its significant growth and to deliver user-friendly digital experiences. In his two years at R+F he led an organizational transformation that included; scaling the business and e-commerce platform to 3X volume and revenue, entrance into a new country market, expansion of product line, complete rebranding across all digital assets, establishment of a virtual (video) platform supporting 100,000s of 1,000s of subscriber/viewers, and numerous operational stability and security improvements across all production landscapes.
Prior to joining R+F, Ralph served as the CIO for HPE’s Enterprise Group and HPE Labs where he was a part of the core executive leadership team that led one of the largest corporate separations in history, splitting HPE from HP, Inc ensuring continuity of service, compliance with separation agreements and regulatory requirements and establishing a new cost and service base to support the two independent organizations going forward.
Prior to his role at HP, Ralph served as SVP and CIO of The Clorox Company, where he helped to lead the century old consumer products company through a digital transformation embracing modernization of supply chain, financial systems, big data, social media and employee productivity and innovation processes.
About IDCA Technical Standards Committee and Advisory Council- The IDCA Technical Standards Committee represents IDCA’s interest in matters pertaining to standards. The committee is composed of elite members from diverse yet premier data center, cloud and application centric organizations who bring decades of experience to the issues and challenges of the data center industry. Its primary mission is to develop a holistic standards and key performance indicator framework that incorporates well established third party industry standards and KPIs, as well as developing new standards and KPI models where gaps exist in the industry’s standards library to help empower and structure information technology, data centers and cloud. It also conducts research on the future needs and requirements, and its members serve as standards advocates and resources for their organizations and industry segments.
