Restructuring the Data Center Industry \\ The Paradigm Shift
Infinity Paradigm – Data Center Revolution in the making....
Washington D.C., January 27, 2014: International Data Center Authority (IDCA) today announces the release of Infinity Paradigm®, the next-generation data center framework. The announcement came shortly after the New Year while anticipations for framework release were set for the beginning of second quarter. “This is the breakthrough of the century”, said Richard Bowie, the Program’s Development Council at IDCA Board of Directors.
The Infinity Paradigm® outlines the models, concepts, frameworks the data center compliance and standardization foundation as they pertain to the data center purpose. The Infinity Paradigm® defines the Application Ecosystem℠ and the ingredients necessary to sustain the optimal ecosystem for the application delivery and business continuity. The paradigm introduces an application-centric methodology and approach towards the planning, designing, implementation and operation of data centers. Chairman of IDCA, Mehdi Paryavi said, “This is the framework built on the back of a century-long experience, suited for the modern era.” The Infinity Paradigm® bridges the gap and merging potential synergies between Application Ecosystem℠ dynamics such as information technology and facilities, facilities and sites, physical infrastructure and virtual infrastructure, single data center nodes and data center clouds, infrastructure and operations.
“The Infinity Paradigm is the enabling framework, upon which the future data centers will be built to sustain cloud and resilient application delivery.”, said Paryavi. The paradigm defines the data center, its inputs, outputs, components and interdependencies by their true merits. The Infinity Paradigm® provides seven Application Ecosystem℠ stack layers, all of which are benchmarked against seven efficacies of availability, capacity, efficiency, safety & security, innovation, operation, and resilience. All components of network, system, storage, telecommunication, power, cooling, cabling, civil, structure, architecture, safety, earthing, connectivity, software, application, monitoring, network operation center, operations, security, servers, personnel, backup, recovery, mirroring, archival, virtualization, cloud, and any method, technology, component or service that relates to the storage, processing and transport of data ultimately hosting, delivery and facilitation of business applications, are embedded in the Infinity Paradigm®.
About Infinity Paradigm - The Infinity Paradigm® is the paradigm that will cause a paradigm-shift in the data center industry and reshape the face of the data center and information technology industry. Infinity Paradigm® effectively renders the data center stakeholder infinite possibilities of effective design, plan, operation, maintenance and compliance to adopt optimum availability, security, efficiency, capacity, innovation, operation and resilience matrices. This is achieved through Infinity Paradigm®'s uniquely comprehensive outlook, encompassing the entire Application Ecosystem℠ covering Application, Platform, Compute, Application Delivery Infrastructure, IT Infrastructure, Site Facility Infrastructure and Topology.
