Washington D.C., February 27, 2018: International Data Center Authority (IDCA) today announces that Sami Smeirat of Orange has joined the IDCA Technical Standards Committee.
Sami Smeirat is the Vice President of Jordan Telecom Group for Business Services (Orange), CEO of Jordan Data Communications Ltd (Orange Internet), CEO of Wanado and Deputy CEO & Chief Commercial Officer of Cyberia Jordan. Sami is a result-driven top executive with 18 years of senior management experience that encapsulates commercial, technical and operational excellence at the highest levels of management.
Sami’s skill set is comprehensive & includes Strategic Planning, Change Management, Efficient Resource Management, Cost Optimization, Financial Management as well as excellent Communication & Negotiation skills.
Sami’s expertise and value-add has been recognized by several high-profile organizations, who have requested his representation; these include Board Member of ARISPA, Board Member, Zara Holdings ( Jordan Largest Hotels Owner), Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University, Board Member of Light Speed Communications, Member of the ‘Elite’ Leaders’, France Telecom, and Member of Private/Public partnership, Ministry of Public Development.
About IDCA Technical Standards Committee - Technical Standards Committee represents IDCA’s interest in matters pertaining to standards. The committee is composed of elite members from diverse yet premier data center, cloud and application centric organizations who bring decades of experience to the issues and challenges of the data center industry. Its primary mission is to develop a holistic standards and key performance indicator framework that incorporates well established third party industry standards and KPIs, as well as developing new standards and KPI models where gaps exist in the industry’s standards library to help empower and structure information technology, data centers and cloud.
